ABOUT
Hi! My name is Taylor and I am a NYC-based stage manager and certified teaching artist. My vision is to be a collaborative, empathetic, and versatile leader both in the rehearsal room and the classroom. My mission is to make these spaces as accessible as possible and to inspire others to lead compassionate, artistic lives.
Currently, I specialize in stage managing plays and musicals. My favorite projects to work on are new works, reimagined classics, and contemporary musicals.
In addition to stage management, I am also passionate about making theatre more accessible to neurodivergent audiences through sensory inclusive performances and practices.
This Spring, I completed my undergraduate honors thesis entitled Creating Sensory Access for Theatrical Spaces. This project consisted of a research review of disability rights history, theatre etiquette history, current industry practices, and interviews with industry professionals. Thanks to grants, Baldwin Wallace University theatres are now partnered with KultureCity, a nonprofit that increases accessibility in public spaces. Through this partnership, house management staff and arts management students now receive sensory inclusive training, sensory bags including fidgets and noise cancelling headphones are now available at the box office, and a social story is available through the KultureCity app for first time patrons visiting the theatre.
